Lower Dungeness Bird Walk with North Olympic Land Trust
Sunday April 13, 2025 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Location: Meeting at the parking lot beside Dungeness Old Schoolhouse
Price: $40
Take a morning walk along the new levee and look for birds at the Lower Dungeness River Floodplain Restoration Site! Join us for an exploration of these protected lands, led by a birding expert of Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society. North Olympic Land Trust’s Community Relations Manager, Lexi Wagor, and Conservation Easement Steward, Julie Anne Hopkins, will share the unique story of the protected lands.
Participants should wear sturdy shoes and expect to walk 1-2 miles on mostly flat, compact gravel. Binoculars and/or spotting scopes are recommended. Depending on bird activity, the outing may last more than two hours.
