Kayaking along the North Olympic coastline gives you the chance to spot a diversity of sea birds flocking and feeding in the open water and along cliff walls. From the seat of a stable double kayak, this slow paced paddle will give you the chance to observe auklets, murrelets, grebes and more. No experience is required. Kayaks, paddles, wetsuits, neoprene boots, splash tops, PFDs and professional guides are provided.
We will meet at Elevate Outdoors, located in downtown Port Angeles to gear up, then drive separately to the boat launch at Freshwater Bay County Park*. We will launch after a short safety talk and be on the water for 2-2.5 hours. For an expedient transition to your afternoon activities, your guides will collect your gear upon returning to the boat launch, and you can be on your way!
