Location: Wild Birds Unlimited
in Gardiner at 275963 US-101
Price: $25.00
Trip Leader: Ken Wiersema

On your way east from Sequim, or perhaps after a morning’s birding at Gardiner landing, join us for a continental breakfast and a program on the Raptors of the Olympic Peninsula, illustrated with local photography. The program will be led by Dungeness River Audubon Center volunteer instructor, Ken Wiersema. Joining us as part of the program will be educational raptors from Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue (DBWBR). DBWBR is a non-profit bird rescue in Port Townsend, WA that cares for hundreds of injured birds on the Olympic Peninsula. A portion of the proceeds for this event will go to the DBWBR. This event is indoors, at Wild Birds Unlimited in Gardiner which graciously donates a cozy meeting space. (20 minutes east of Dungeness River Audubon Center at 275963 US-101). Consider combining attendance at Talons and Toast with the nearby Gardiner Field Trip (7-9 am) for a full morning of birding adventures. You can visit the DBWBR website here: http://www.discoverybaywildbirdrescue.com/index.html
